In 1992 Pete bought Dave Millings TZ250B. He contested the ACU Clubmans series , won the Louth & District 250 cc Club Championship,
and went back to the Manx and finished 22nd in the Junior race averaging 104mph. This was as Pete recalled a sad year for him on the Island with to many close friends being hurt.
Pete himself escaped injury when crashing out of the Lightweight race at Graham Memorial.
1993 saw Pete finish 3rd in the ACU Clubmans series. 1994 and the purchase of a brand new TZ 250F saw 4 club championships at Elvington, and 3rd in the Scarborough
250 series.
In 1995 Pete won the Scarborough 250 series, managed a 4th in the John Birkett Trophy and won Laird of Croft. The time had
come to return to the Isle of Man for the Manx after a 2 year lay off. 14th in the Junior and 10th in
the Lightweight upping his personal lap time to 107.4mph.

Pete was a member of the winning club team
for the Lightweight race and was jointly awarded the Bills Harding trophy with fellow competitor Karl Bell and "a bag of dry leaves!!"
(well it was autumn!!)
